Rawalpindi: Pakistan Army introduced A-100 rocket in Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) on Friday of Artillery corps.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the army said A-100 rocket had been developed by Pakistani scientists and engineers and that was launched today.
“With over 100 kilometers range the Rocket is a highly effective and potent for interdiction that can effectively disrupt enemy’s mobilization and assembly,” ISPR said.
Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa was the honorary guest at the launching ceremony. While addressing at this occasion he extensively praised scientists and engineers for intelligently developing A- 100 rocket which will show off the fire power capabilities of Pakistan Army.
The COAS stressed Pakistan Army’s resolve to strengthen the forces to meet the challenges at all avenues.
He further mentioned that Defense ministry maintained continuous progress and contributed to defence of Pakistan.
