Pakistan announced national squad for T20 series against Bangladesh


The national team has been announced for the three-match Twenty20 series against Bangladesh.

Chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq announced the national team at a press conference in Karachi.

Misbah-ul-Haq said: “We have given the opportunity to new players in Australia. We have also created a combination of experienced and young players against Bangladesh.”

Misbah-ul-Haq said, “we were working on some pool, we felt the need for Mohammad Hafeez, Hafeez can still perform well for the Pakistan team.”

National team’s head coach said that they are working on Shadab Khan performance while Usman Qadir was kept for backup.

The team consists of these players:

  2. Haris Sohail
  3. Iftikhar Ahmed
  4. Imad Wasim
  5. Mohammed Hasnain
  6. Mohammad Rizwan
  7. Shadab Khan
  8. Shaheen Shah Afridi
  9. Shoaib Malik
  10. Haris Rauf
  11. Khushdil Shah
  12. Usman Qadir
  13. Ahsan Ali
  14. Mohammad Hafeez
  15. Amad Butt
  16. Mohammad Musa Khan and Irfan Ali.


The head coach of the national team said that after the PSL, there will be a new form of the national team, those who perform will remain in the team.

On the question regarding Sarfraz Ahmed, the Chief Selector said that Sarfraz Ahmed has improved a lot if he performs in the PSL, then he can come back at any time.
