Rawalpindi:While responding to unprovoked firing by Indian army on civilian population, Pakistan Army troops shot dead three Indian soldiers and injured two others on Friday.
Media wing of the Armed force, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) told “Indian troops initiated unprovoked fire in Khuiratta and Kotkhetera sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) targeting civil population.”
Pakistan Army troops immediately responded and attacked back at Indian posts, said the ISPR.
ISPR told that it is confirmed that three Indian soldiers have died and two are injured during the exchange of fire between the two armies. Media reports that an Indian army check post is also damaged while the exchange of firing.
A citizen got injured as Indian troops opened up firing on Thursday in Khuiratta sector along the LoC.
The Indian forces fired on civil population which resulted in injuries to a resident of Tain village, who was later identified as, Muhammad Mushtaq.
The injured resident was taken to the hospital immediately, while Army responded to the Indian agitation.
