Star footballers Ricardo Kaka, a Brazilian footballer and Luis Figo, A Portuguese footballer arrived in Karachi, Pakistan where they were presented Pakistani Football team jersey during the media briefing for ‘World Soccer Stars’ by Pakistan captain Saddam Hussain in Karachi.
Hussain met the two shared the stage with the two legends gifted them the Green jersey. “It will be an honour for me if they accept my gift,” he mentioned.
The Brazilian and Portuguese football legend arrived on Thursday, on their arrival at the Jinnah international Airport they were presented Ajrak and Sindhi Topi as souvenirs from the Football association officials.
Kaka had already expressed his excitement to come to Pakistan for the first time through a video message that he shared on his Twitter handle.
“I am really looking forward to being there in Pakistan which will be my first visit to the Asian football-loving nation,” he said.
Ahmer Kunwar, a UK-born Pakistani, is after this idea of “World Soccer Stars” with the clear intention to revive and bring stars to Pakistan.
“This initiative has been taken to give football a new and unique identity in Pakistan,” he stated previously.
