Pakistan’s M. Asif again wins IBSF World Snooker Championship title

Pakistani snooker star Mohammad Asif performed brilliantly and defeated Geoffrey Rhoda of the Philippines to win the World Snooker Championship title.

Mohammad Asif continued to perform well in the final of the International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) World Men’s Snooker Championship 2019 played in Anatolia, Turkey.

Mohammad Asif won the title of champion after beating Philippines quotient Jeffrey Rhoda in the final.

The 37-year-old snooker champion won eight of the final five contests.

Asif won the World Snooker Championship title for the second time, where he had earlier won the title in 2012.

Mohammad Asif expressed happiness over winning the championship, saying that by the grace of Allah I have become World Champion for the second time and cannot describe the joy of winning the world title in words.

Asif said that it was a difficult event in which opponents also competed well and he dedicates this success to the nation and the Kashmiri brothers.
