Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered the relevant authorities to keep countrymen updated about the progress on the Naya Pakistan Housing Project.
While presiding a meeting that discussed the progress made on the newly launched housing scheme in Islamabad PM said that it should benefit for whom it is created.
Punjab’s Ministers Mian Mehmood-ur- Rasheed, Aleem Khan and the chairman housing task force also attended the meeting and reviewed the progress and the legal sphere of the housing scheme.
The PM was told that the formation of Real State Regulatory Authority has entered in its final stage and its formation has also been finalized.
“Financing model for purchasing of homes and work on associated tax exemptions is also near completion,” PM was apprised.
It was briefed in meeting that work on construction of 25,000 housing units at the federal level in Lahore and Islamabad will be imitated very soon.
Punjab Minister for Housing Mehmood ur Rashid told the Prime Minister that housing project will be started at Renala Khurd, Chistian and Lodhran soon after the feasibility report.
Imran Khan urged that the newly launched scheme should accelerate its work so that people could get benefit real soon
