Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday ordered the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister for providing basic facilities to those tribal areas that had been merged with the province.
“Provide all the facilities including education and health in those areas which have been merged with KP,” he stated during his recent media encounter.
Prime Minister Imran khan issued numerous directives including the immediate giving away of facilities to the people of tribal areas who have recently merged in Khyber Pakthunkhawa. He urged that immediate hiring of people of tribal areas be made on the vacant seats of Police department.
“Health cards should be provided to five lakh people in those areas without any delay. The provision of health cards should start by the end of January,” he expressed.
He told that it is government’s top priority to maintain the socio-economic conditions in the tribal areas. PM said that they are the most effected people due to terrorism
Previously on Monday, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman said the government is taking appreciable measures at quick pace to eradicate deprivation, poverty and unemployment among tribal people who would continue to avail old perks and privileges of the province.
He expressed these ambitions during a meeting with 100-member Jirga of the former FR Peshawar who invited him at Governor House in Peshawar.
Shah Farman ordered that a 30-member Jirga comprising tribal elders should be formed to oversee development work in the region.
