Doha: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has reached Doha on a two-day official visit to Qatar, on its Emir’s invitation.
Imran Khan was warmly welcomed by the Qatar’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Qatar Soltan bin Saad al-Muraikhi at the airport.
Prime Minister Imran Khan was accompanied by his squad that consisted of Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bokhari, Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan and an official adviser on trade.
Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani invited Prime Minister Imran Khan for a visit to Qatar.
During the official visit, Imran Khan is expected to meet Emir of Qatar and his Qatari counterpart.
Imran Khan will also meet entrepreneurs and investors during his trip and will talk about future investments.
“There’s an enormous potential in amplifying Pak-Qatar relations,” Qureshi told while talking to media before leaving for a two-day visit to Qatar with PM Imran Khan.
he said that huge number of Pakistanis are employed in Qatar and the Prime Minister will discuss the matter of employing the skilled an unskilled worker of Pakistan.
