The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary to the Petroleum Division to change the prices of petroleum products. According to sources, in the month of October, prices of petroleum products have been recommended to be reduced by Rs 3.23 paisa per liter.
Sources said that the price of petrol has been suggested to be reduced by Rs 2.55 paisa per liter and diesel by Rs 3.23 paisa per liter. The price of light diesel oil was recommended to be reduced by Rs.2.41 paisa per liter.
According to sources, the price of Kerosene oil is suggested to increase by Rs 1.19 paisa. The Prime Minister will make the final decision on the prices of petroleum products, after which the new prices will be applicable from 1st October 2019.
