Prime Minister addressed nation regarding his 100-day progress

Islamabad: Long awaited Prime Minister (PM) took place in Jinnah convention Center of the Federal capital on Thursday (today) where Imran Khan addressed the nation to share the progress of his 100 days in government and made new announcements.

A special event was organised in the Capital today to celebrate 100-days of  Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government. “Bunyaad Naye Pakistan Ki” [Foundation of a new Pakistan] was the tagline of the

PM Khan was the honorary guest of the event along with many other government officials. The ceremony was attended by many federal ministers, PTI workers, advisers and celebrities belonging to various spheres such as famous singer Najam Sheraz.

Adviser to Prime Minister Arbab Shehzad, Federal Finance Minister Asad Umer and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi delivered speeches, shared their experiences regarding the performance of PTI government in first 100-days.

The tag line of the ceremony underway at the Jinnah Convention Center is “Bunyaad Naye Pakistan Ki” [Foundation of a new Pakistan].The ceremony was attended by all federal ministers, advisers and PTI workers.

He said the government tried to come up with a plan for first 100-days to address immediate issues the country is facing.

While talking about improving relations with India he stated that we want to boost export and maintain peaceful terms with the neighbour country.

The prime minister said the government strengthened the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and set up the Asset Recovery Unit to sign agreements with more than 26 countries to exchange information.

Imran informed that FIA has traced numerous transaction from fake bank accounts and land worth Rs 350 billion is also recovered from land mafia.  Punjab alone stood on the top by recovering 88,000 acres of land from mafia.

A successful operation has already been started against electricity theft that posed annual loss of millions to the Electric supply companies. Around 6,000 FIRs have been registered against electricity theft.

He further said that he is tying to introduce health cards t provide better facilities to the people of Pakistan.

Talking about naya Pakistan housing scheme he said that so far the budget allocated for providing house to the poor touches 5 billion rupees.

The expenditure of Prime Minister, Chief Minster houses are cut short and minister are requested to lessen their daily budget and protocol.
