PSL 2020: Karachi Kings Started Beautifully its Campaign for 5th Edition

Karachi Kings won by 10 runs in the 2nd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.

Zalmi’s caption Darren Sammy won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Baber Azam and Sharjeel Khan opened the innings from Kings. Both started the innings beautifully, but Sharjeel got out after making 19 runs.

After that Camron Delport joined Baber and rebuild the inning of Kings. Delport got out after making 20 runs.

Then Caption Imad Wasim and Baber played delightful strokes all around the ground.

Baber and Imad scored 78 and 50 respectively. Iftikhar Ahmed ended the inning beautifully with 2 large sixes and remained not out on 16 runs.

Hassan Ali got 2 wickets for 52 runs but it was an expansive return of him in cricket. Muhammad Mohsin took 1 wicket for 35 runs.

No bowler of Zalmi could impress and in a result, Karachi Kings scored 201 for 4 wickets in 20 overs.

IN reply, Kamran Akmal was the only batsman who batted sincerely but on the other hand wickets fell after a regular interval. He made 43 runs.

Tom Banton 13, Haider Ali 4, Dawson scored 30 and Shoaib Malik was run out after making 16 runs.

After that Livingstone and Sammy played a stunning innings for their team and went the game in the last over to decide.

Sammy was out in the last over after making 30 runs. Livingstone scored 54 and remained not out. But his brilliant inning gone in vain. 

Chris Jorden and Umaid Asif took 2 wickets for Kings while Delport and Amir took 1 wicket each.

In the end, Karachi won by 10 runs and started beautifully its campaign of 5th edition of the PSL.
