Lahore: Punjab government has announced to abolish tax of Rs 18 billion for the restoration of the economy.
The Chief Minister tweeted on the social networking website that the GST has been terminated on the online platform so that our business community can continue their business in the worst of circumstances due to the Coronavirus.
CVT and stamp duty for property transactions have also been reduced to 2%. Taxes on businesses and services related to human development have also been abolished. GST on hospital services and construction services has also been abolished.
The Punjab government has also increased the wheat quota for flour mills to keep the business running in crisis and to maintain the food supply.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has given the task of ensuring the supply of flour to the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts.
