Qureshi invite Sushma Swaraj in opening of pioneer facilities at Karatrpur

Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi invited his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu on Saturday to attend the ceremony the Kartarpur border corridor.

Prime Mionister Imran Khan will  inaugrate the pioneering facilities at Kartarpur border on November 28.

Federal Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi took to Twitter to invite the guests from India.

Qureshi in a tweet said: “On behalf of Pakistan I have extended an invitation to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj @SushmaSwaraj, Capt Amarinder Singh @capt_amarinder& Navjot Singh Sidhu @sherryontopp to attend the groundbreaking ceremony at #Kartarpura on 28 Nov, 2018. #PakistanKartarpuraSpirit.”

Navjot Singh Sidhu is a cabinet minister in Indian Punjab. He was also invited at the ceremony and he delightedly accepted the invitation.

Navjot Sidhu briefed media that he happily accepted the invitation and said that Imran Khan is his friends and whenever he will be invited by him . He will surely visit Pakistan.

“I don’t have words to express my joy,” Sidhu reportedly expressed.

Few days back it was peacefully decided between India and Pakistan that Kartarpur border will open up to provide Sikh Pilgrims facilities. Previously, Sikh pilgrims would face problem during their annual visit to Gurdwara Darbar Sahib.
