Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Termed Indian’s response as positive after the Indian Government decided to send its two ministers to attend the ground-breaking of Kartarpur Corridor
Earlier Foreign Minister Qureshi visited the Indian high commissioner stall and met Ajay Bisara and expressed his views.
The foreign minister of India responded very positively and appreciated this initiative to help Sikh Community.
Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj excused joining in due to her prior commitments but she assured that she will send two ministers on Behalf of the Indian Foreign Ministry .
Two ministers named Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri will attend the Kartarpur corridor groundbreaking ceremony that is scheduled on November 28, Wednesday.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated that Pakistan’s decision is landmark to facilitate Sikh pilgrims and ease tension between the two countries.
He said that Sikh community will be warmly welcomed across the globe and this decision will project the positive image of Pakistan in the whole world.
