MUMBAI: The families of Indian Muslim actors Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and others living in India will have to prove their Indianness due to CAA.
Now with fear of being stripped of Indian citizenship the danger is escalating the difficulties of these artists.
The ruling party will collect the data of artists living in Mumbai, New Delhi as well as all across India to scrutinize them, Special instructions have been issued by Indian Government offices in Mumbai and New Delhi to monitor the social media accounts of these artists.
According to Indian media reports, Artists’ statements should be scrutinized so that legal action can be taken against them.
According to a senior advocate Nadeem Bhatti, “the law has been closely reviewed, Act will divide India.
“Narendra Modi is a tyrant ruler, why the Human rights organizations and countries around the world do not take serious action on CAA law”, Nadeem Bhatti questioned.
On the other side Chief Minister of Indian state Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan categorically refused to apply the controversial citizenship law in his state. It should be noted that 300 plus Indian celebrities are against this law.
It should be noted that on December 11 last year, Indian Parliament passed the Citizenship Amendment Act, which would give Indian citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, and Christians who came to India from 3 neighboring countries before December 31, 2014, But Muslims are not included in the list.
