SC orders trial court to complete Mehar triple murder case in 3 months

Islamabad: A Supreme Court bench led by Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar while hearing petition about triple murder in Mehar town of Dadu district directed authorities give security to complainant Umme Rubab and her family.

Apex court order the trial court to indict the accused within 15 days and complete trial in three months.

Umme Rubab pleaded to the court that she and her family are threatened to their lives by the people who are accused in murder. They live in Mehar and requested the case to be transferred to Karachi.

Chief Justice commented that police could not arrest the accused and also asked the petitioner to submit an application in the high court for the transfer to case.

The court also ordered the Sindh high Court to decide the order within 15 days.

`the bench also order the police to arrest the people who are involved in the murder case.

A former People’s Party MPA Nawab Sardar Ahmed Chandio and his brother Nawab Burhan Khan Chandio’s name appeared in the triple murder in January last year, had earlier got pre-arrest bail from court.
