Larkana: The Sindh Food Authority (SFA) conducted raids at several bakeries and eateries in Larkana and issued warnings to their owners for selling substandard products.
The Deputy director Sindh Food Authority expressed displeasure and contentment over the quality of food items.
He warned that if they quality of the eatables is not improved strict actions will be taken.
The Sindh Food Authority, in while its raids in Hyderabad last week, various eateries and the dairy farms were inspected.
As per details, the Sindh Food Authority conducted raids at the various hotels and dairy farms in Hyderabad and Qasimabad to inspect hygienic situation and quality of the food ingredients used to make various items.
SFA urged that the quality standard maintained by watchdog must be met.
“The action was taken after recruitment of the food safety officers in the authority,” Director SFA Abrar Shaikh said.
He informed that as many as 37 food safety officers and the six deputy director operations have been appointed in the Sindh Food Authority.
