Sindh’s CNG stations to shut down for 34 hours

The Sui Southern Gas Company has ordered that  all the CNG stations across Sindh will be closed by 10 Pm tonight for 34 hours.

Sources informed that SSGC will halt gas supply to all CNG stations on Tuesday at night on 10 Pm due to very low gas pressure.

Sui Southern Gas Company has told the reason that gas pressure is very low and it cannot provide gas to nearly hundreds of CNG stations.

Altogether there are 650 CNG stations in Sindh and and out of which 300 are in Karachi.

The CNG stations are expected to close for 34 hours and the gas will be restored Thursday morning at 8 Am.

On December 11, the SSGC had stopped the gas supply to all the CNG stations in Sindh for an indefinite period.The gas supply was restored six days after the Governor Sindh and Prime Minister took suo moto notice of the situation. Petroleum Minister intervened and urged that inquiry should be set up to know the reason behind the halt in gas supply.
