Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the country’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs) will provide the environment for Chinese industries to settle in Pakistan.
Addressing a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of Allama Iqbal Industrial City in Faisalabad, he said that it was his vision to bring its working-class at high-level as was the state of Madina.
He said that the compassion and justice within the state make it clear that the difference between human and animal.
He said that in every event we have been addressed in English, even in the Assembly of Pakistan, the speech was given in English. We have to change our mindset, this is our slavery mentality.
He said that it is important for us to use English for higher education, but because of the difference we make in class, we insult poor people who do not understand English.
“We also have to increase agriculture and its production, besides promoting tourism as it can generate a lot of revenue,” PM said.
During the address, Imran Khan said that many industries from China want to come here but we have not yet given them the environment, even though these industries are moving to Thailand and Vietnam but these special economic zones are the environment that Chinese industries want.
He said that it is not only that they are ready to invest in Pakistan but they will increase our production by shifting the technology which will benefit us.
Earlier, during his visit to Faisalabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of Allama Iqbal Industrial City and also inaugurated the first shelter home in Faisalabad.
During the visit to Faisalabad, Punjab province, Imran Khan was accompanied by Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar and Minister for Planning Asad Umar and others.
