Dubai: “We have delayed our efforts to hold talks with India because we do not expect any big decision from the present Indian leadership,” said Fawad Chaudhry.
Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry, while giving interview with Gulf News on Sunday said, “It is useless to talk to them (India) now unless there is some stability. We will move forward once the new government is formed after the elections.”
Due to upcoming elections and the disturbance in the political scenario of India, there cannot be peace dialogues with the neighbouring country.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has already given invitation to India state officials at various occasions, including the event of his acceptance speech but the nuclear-powered-neighbour did not give any positive response, Mr. Chuadhry continued.
During the event of ground-breaking of Kartapur corridor, FM invited the Minister of Foreign affairs of India who couldn’t make it because of her busy schedule.
On an event, when it was questioned taht which Indian leader will suit to Pakisatn more when the peace talk subject comes, he said, “We will respect any Indian leader and the party elected by the Indian people. And, we would like to move forward to hold dialogue with whosoever comes into power in India.”
