Prime Minister Imran Khan handed over the task of preventing Maulana Fazal-ur-Rahman’s sit-in to the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri. According to reports, Prime Minister Imran Khan has made telephonic contact with Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul-Haq-Qadri.
The Prime Minister handed over the task to contact Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman to stop the sit-in. The Prime Minister also summoned all information regarding the sit-in while also directed to make recommendations on how to prevent or tackle the sit-in.
After receiving the task from the Prime Minister, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri will soon contact Maulana Fazal-ur -Rehman, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) F. No final decision of the PML-N has been made on Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s sit-in. Shahbaz Sharif could not meet Nawaz Sharif today due to back pain.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Party has called Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azaadi march a “yes” and no to sit-in. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we are not convinced with sit-in but support the Azaadi march.
