Two nurses suspended for scuffling at Peshawar hospital’s emergency ward

PESHAWAR: Two nurses were suspended when they were caught scuffling at emergency ward of Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar on Tuesday.

Details tell that two nurses named Shams-un-Nisa and Fozia, started scuffling over a petty issue while they were on duty in Emergency ward. The nurses slapped, punched and kicked each other told the patients and other hospital staff.

People who were came to top see their patients in the hospital came and pacified both, soon security officials appeared and failed to make peace between them.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Health Dr Farooq Jameel took notice of this event and suspended both the nurses and asked the hospital to investigate the matter.

Farooq Jameel has sought a detailed report from the Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar Director Khalid Khan. The director is reported to form  three-member committee to probe this issue.
