Quetta: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General Balochistan, Abid Javed declared that accountability is unavoidable for continuation of prosperity of the country.
Abid Javed while hearing public issues in an ‘open kachery’ said that NAB believed in rule of law and across the board accountability. He expressed that corruption will not be tolerated in government projects and development and added that the people suffered due to delay in development projects.
He said that bringing back the money that is looted is the top priority of the watchdog. He said that many development projects are facing delay.
The relevant officials were being bound to finish the projects on time and said that NAB to address people’s complaints relating to corruption.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal said on January 28 that corruption must be uprooted for the uplift of the country.
