US recognized Mufti Wali Noor Mehsud as head of Terrorists

WASHINGTON: On Tuesday, The United State (US) State Department nominated 15 leaders, persons and objects joined with terror groups.

The United State also recognized the man as Mufti Noor Wali Mehsud, the head of the forbidden terrorist Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and has targeted an extensive collection of groups, including entities connected with HAMAS, Daesh, Al-Qaeda and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Qods-Force (IRGC-QF).

“Since the terrible attacks of 9/11, the US government has relocated its anti-terrorism efforts to continuously adapt to developing threats. President Trump’s modernized counterterrorism Executive Order improves the establishments we use to target the funds of terror groups and their leaders to ensure they are as strong as possible,” United State Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin said.

He also added, “These new establishments will allow the United State government to famish terrorists of resources they need to attack the US and our allies and will hold foreign financial organizations who continue to do business with them answerable.”

“These new tools aid our inexorable efforts to cut off terrorists from their bases of support and divest them of the funds required to carry out their critical activities. They serve as a powerful restrictive to radical terror groups and those seeking to aid their wicked goals,” he added.
