US urges for Normalcy in IOK: Lawmakers

The United State (US) pushed India to restore the normal life in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The USA officials said that Religious freedom is a universal right and India should respect that right.

Moreover, India should lift the communication blockade from the valet immediately.

Besides showing its concerns about communication blockade, the US also raised an issue about the detention of political and freedom leaders.




Adding more to the above, Alice wells (US acting Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian affairs) said, “We have urged Indian authorities to respect human rights and restore full access to services, including internet and mobile networks.”

Although International Media covered the issues of IOK, yet journalists had to face difficulties accessing Kashmir, Alice Wells said.

Revocation of Article 370 over disputed territory is not considered an appreciable act. India should restore full access to services including mobile networks and the internet.
