We extend Bajwa’s term after consultation with all stakeholders: PM Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan said that after the consultation with all the stakeholders, we decided to extend the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa term, it is the parliament matter, the extension of employment matter should not go to court, PM added.

The PTI’s parliamentary party meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, held in the Parliament House, in which Attorney General of Pakistan also participate and gave a briefing.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the Indian Army Chief is giving threats of war; General Qamar Javed Bajwa‘s term is necessary for these conditions.

The Prime Minister said that all members of Parliament and allies supported the Army Act Amendment Bill, we do not want conflict with the judiciary, we respect the judiciary.

During the meeting, MPs complained about not allocating the jobs and requested Grade 1 Grade 5 to be given as soon as possible.
On this occasion, the Assembly also mentioned the NAB and said that the politicians should get relief from the NAB.

Defense Minister Pervez Khattak also complained about the absence of ministers in the Senate, on which the Prime Minister asked that a list of the next minister who did not appear in the Senate be made.
