The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall across the country and snowfall in the northern regions today (Wednesday).
The rainfall started early morning in the Quetta and its outskirts, city experienced light showers of rainfall and the weather turned chillier than before.
Balochistan’s division of Zhob, Qalat, Makran, Nasirabad and Sibbi, Sindh’s division of Sukkur, Larkana, Nawabshah, Hyderabad and Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore and Gujranwala in Punjab area will probably receive rainfall during the course of next two days.
The Meteorological department has also forecasted snow in Murree, Galyat regions, Swat, Chitral, Kalam, upper Dir, Hazara and Kohistan area.
Previously, it snowed in the northern region few days back and the temperature in some areas went as low as -10 degree centigrade.
The new cold wave system has entered into the Pakisatn through the west and weather is likely to become chillier after the rainfall today.
Showers and cold breeze is also likely in Sindh’s Mirpurkhas and Thatta divisions.
